SEETEST 2016 ended with a tremendous success!!!
The Fifth South East European Software Testing Conference - SEETEST 2016, which took place in Bucharest, Romania, on September 15-16 ended successfully, leaving us new knowledge and many good memories.
This year more than 220 specialists in the area of software testing and software quality management took part in the event.
The organizers (SEETB, Quality House Ltd. and ANIS) would like to thank the speakers, the sponsors, the participants, the program committee, the supporting organizations and the media partners for making the conference one of the top events in the IT area for the South East European Region.

The Program Committee (15 members from 8 countries) has done an excellent job in the selection of the presentations for the Conference Day – special thanks for their commitment and choice! Out of over 40 paper submissions from 14 countries, i.e. Romania, Norway, Greece, Bulgaria, Hungary, Germany, Serbia, Czech Republic, Austria, India, Turkey, Belarus, Latvia and Sri Lanka, the Program Committee compiled an excellent conference day program addressing a broad range of topics in software quality. They also managed to show to all the participants in SEETEST 2016 that the QA specialists from all over the world face similar problems in their everyday work.

Patricia McQuaid will be a keynote and a tutorial speaker at SEETEST 2016We are proud to announce that Professor, Former President and co-founder of the ASTQB, Member, Board of Directors, of the HASTQB and Vice-President of North America for iSQI Mrs. Patricia A McQuaid will be a keynote and a tutorial speaker at SEETEST 2016.
Patricia McQuaid, Ph.D., CISA, is a Professor of Information Systems in the Orfalea College of Business at California Polytechnic State University (Cal Poly). She is an associate editor of software quality journals, a Senior Member of ASQ, a member of IEEE and the Project Management Institute (PMI). She is the Program Chair for the next World Congress for Software Quality, 7WCSQ, to be held in Lima, Peru in March 2017.
On the first day of SEETEST 2016 (September 15th) Patricia will present a tutorial on the topic: "Test Design Techniques". Patricia's keynote speech will take place on the second day of the conference (September 16th) on the topic: "Best Practices for Independent Quality Assurance of Major IT Projects".
Clive Bates will be a tutorial speaker at SEETEST 2016We are pleased to have the international expert Clive Bates as a tutorial speaker at SEETEST 2016.
Clive Bates has a clear passion for his work, in particular around Process Improvement and all the related activities. He is one of the founder members of the board that developed the original ISEB/ISTQB testing qualifications. He is an accredited TMMi Lead Assessor and is one of the Directors of UKTB, chair of the Accreditation panel and actively representing the UK as Vice Chair on the ISTQB Process and Audit Working Group.
Clive Bates will present a tutorial on the topic: “Success from Failure” on the first day of SEETEST 2016 (September 15th).
Yaron Tsubery will be a tutorial speaker at SEETEST 2016We proudly present to you one of the top executives of the international software testing scene - Yaron Tsubery who will be a tutorial speaker at SEETEST 2016.
Yaron has an excessive experience in managing QA & Testing organizations conducting large-scale, complex, real-time system testing at various sectors: Telecom, Banking, IT and Medical Devices. In charge of planning and implementing control quality assurance systems and SDLCs, while using best practice industrial standards. He is the former President of ISTQB® and is also the President and founder of the ITCB®. He is a member of IQAMF and in SIGiST Israel.
Yaron Tsubery will present a tutorial on the topic: “Mobile Testing” on the first day of SEETEST 2016 (September 15th).
Linda Lemieux and Jen Leger will be tutorial speakers at SEETEST 2016We are pleased to welcome Linda Lemieux and Jen Leger as tutorial speakers at SEETEST 2016.
Linda Lemieux is a quality-testing consultant, and has worked in the testing industry for over 30 years. She has planned, directed and managed software development, QA and integration transition and outsourcing activities for global outsourcing programs. In 2012, Linda’s team won the Develop Industry Excellence Award for the Best Outsourcing QA partner.
Jen Leger is a senior QA leader with over 15 years of experience in the strategic, tactical and operational aspects of QA. She is Vice President of CSTB and Vice Chair Governance for ISTQB. She is responsible for leading the design and development effort of the test automation architecture and framework. Working with local universities and colleges she has produced innovative test automation solutions.

Isabel Evans has nearly thirty years of experience in the IT industry, mainly in quality management and testing in the financial, communications, and software sectors. Her areas of expertise are software quality management, software testing, teamwork, and training. Isabel has many publications and is a popular speaker at software quality conferences worldwide. She is a Chartered IT Professional and a Fellow of the British Computer Society.

Erik van Veenendaal will be a tutorial and a keynote speaker at SEETEST 2016We are proud to welcome the winner of the "ISTQB International Testing Excellence Award" and the "European Testing Excellence Award" Erik van Veenendaal, who will be a tutorial and a keynote speaker at SEETEST 2016.
Erik van Veenendaal is an internationally recognized testing expert, author of a number of books and has published a large number of papers within the profession. He is an independent consultant doing consultancy, training, publications and presentations and is a regular keynote and tutorial speaker at international testing conferences.
On the first day of SEETEST 2016 (September 15th) Erik will present a tutorial on the topic: "Discount Usability Testing". Erik's keynote speech will take place on the second day of the conference (September 16th) on the topic: "Building on Success – Beyond the Obvious".

After the great success of SEETEST conference in Sofia, Bulgaria, I am very pleased to present to you the Fifth South East European Software Testing Conference – SEETEST 2016, which will take place in Bucharest, Romania on September 15-16, 2016. SEETEST 2016 is organized by SEETB, Quality House Ltd. and ANIS and it is supported by most of the associations that represent the IT industry in South East Europe.
The Conference will feature keynotes and tutorials of internationally renowned speakers as well as high-quality presentations from members of the quality engineering community. SEETEST 2016 is an international conference and therefore all lectures will be given in English.
On September 15th and 16th, leading experts will come to the Romanian capital to share the latest news, practical and research insights, experiences and advances in software quality and testing. Use your chance to meet the experts and VIPs in the software quality business – during the Conference or at the Social Event.
As the tradition goes, the conference program will be divided into two days – one day of tutorials (15 September) and one day of keynote speeches and presentations (16 September). At the exhibition, which will be running both days, international companies working in the software quality field will demonstrate their tools and services.
